The interesting part is not any one model. It is the chain between the outside world and a decision: what came in, what we believe, why we believe it, what we expect next, what changes under different choices, and whether a human can challenge the whole thing.

Layer 00

Ingestion — bring the world in.

Sensors, APIs, satellite observations, scientific literature, public records, customer data and other authorised evidence enter through domain-specific ingestion engines. Their job is acquisition, not storytelling.

Evidence & State — establish what we actually know.

Observations are timestamped, attributed, cleaned and organised into a current state. Contradictions and stale information stay visible. Observed facts, modelled estimates and inferred claims remain different things.

Causal Intelligence — ask what mechanism could connect it.

Signals are linked only through explicit mechanisms and evidence. Competing explanations are preserved rather than quietly discarded, and confidence is separated from persuasive language.

Layer 03

Prometheus — turn beliefs into promises reality can judge.

Prometheus carries the current evidence and mechanisms into explicit, timestamped forecasts. It records uncertainty before the answer is known, returns when outcomes resolve and measures whether its confidence was deserved.

Layer 04

Decision Futures — compare what changes when the choice changes.

Start from the same frozen evidence and Prometheus baseline, change a proposed decision or intervention, and compare how the downstream causal chain could differ. Branches stay conditional and inspectable rather than being presented as prophecy.

Sentinel — let a human interrogate the intelligence.

Sentinel is the command and explanation layer. It can ask systems what they see, why they believe something, what is degraded, what they do not trust and where evidence is missing — while respecting permissions and domain boundaries.
