Pythology builds intelligence architectures for complex systems. They ingest evidence, separate observation from inference, compare possible mechanisms, forecast what should happen next, expose uncertainty and learn when reality proves them right or wrong.
The intelligence stack
The interesting part is not any one model. It is the chain between the outside world and a decision: what came in, what we believe, why we believe it, what we expect next, what changes under different choices, and whether a human can challenge the whole thing.

Observations are timestamped, attributed, cleaned and organised into a current state. Contradictions and stale information stay visible. Observed facts, modelled estimates and inferred claims remain different things.
Signals are linked only through explicit mechanisms and evidence. Competing explanations are preserved rather than quietly discarded, and confidence is separated from persuasive language.
Prometheus carries the current evidence and mechanisms into explicit, timestamped forecasts. It records uncertainty before the answer is known, returns when outcomes resolve and measures whether its confidence was deserved.
Start from the same frozen evidence and Prometheus baseline, change a proposed decision or intervention, and compare how the downstream causal chain could differ. Branches stay conditional and inspectable rather than being presented as prophecy.
Sentinel is the command and explanation layer. It can ask systems what they see, why they believe something, what is degraded, what they do not trust and where evidence is missing — while respecting permissions and domain boundaries.
Where the architecture becomes real
The evidence and mechanisms change completely between domains. The discipline does not: provenance, competing hypotheses, uncertainty, falsification, human challenge, decision comparison and learning from outcomes.

Prometheus, Decision Futures and Sentinel should feel simple to use precisely because the difficult work is happening underneath them. Pythology's research is about making that hidden machinery stronger without hiding where it is uncertain, wrong or incomplete.
